The family who run the place could not have been more friendly - and welcoming us with tea on arrival, we also had a lovely evening dinner (at a very reasonable extra cost), it was one of our favourite places so far in Peru! We were also able to park our car inside their yard which was really helpful.

The room was great, and the bed was comfy and warm. There was a warm shower and the breakfast was good - lots of eggs with bread and jam - at flexible times. The host, Elizabeth, went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable and answering my questions even before I arrived. On the way to Cachora she personally came to pick me up from Ramal de Cachora, and on the way back managed to coordinate three taxis for me to get back to Cusco during a national strike. Thank you!
