Also, the hotel was pet friendly as advertised, located close to a Romero grocery store, and offered an included breakfast that left me feeling ready to take on the day ahead!

You can see Boquete town in the valley and Volcan Baru at the same time. Mel is super friendly and helpful, she helped us with all the reservations (taxis, tours and transfer to Bocas). Located in Las Lajas, Show Pony Ranchero Resort - Boutique Beach Hotel offers water sports facilities, garden and terrace. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar, as well as on-site dining.... Nice although secluded place. Two minute walk to the beach, pool and bar on site. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Wi-fi working good. Overall great experience if you're looking for a quiet place.

I’m not exaggerating when I say I probably had one of the most pleasant stays that I had in my life at this place. The hotel is beautiful but what made it exceptional was the staff, Marcelo was super attentive and helped us in everything we needed (which was a lot but he remained happy to help us) and the owner of the hotel was also really thoughtful and took us to the restaurants that were outside the hotel. I cannot recommend enough this hotel for anyone thinking of staying in boquete!
