From the moment we arrived, Brad, the owner, made us feel welcome and taken care of. He is such a great host – super friendly, helpful, and always around if you need anything. The resort itself is a little paradise - feels like a hidden gem. The pool is fantastic for cooling off and relaxing, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the whole property is surrounded by beautiful nature, which makes it easy to completely unwind. Breakfast was always delicious, especially the fresh fruits that were served every morning. We also went on the whale watching tour, which was a great experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. All in all, we had an unforgettable time at this place. Had an amazing time here. I wish my girlfriend and I could have stayed here longer. Such an amazing place and the Jose and Gerard were fantastic. A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Las Lajas, Magic Mountain Lodge is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden. The property features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and parking on-site among other facilities. This bed and breakfast features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. When staying at the bed and breakfast, guests can use private entrance. Hotel managers Ute and Ingo are super friendly and offered all kind of assistance whenever we needed (particularly when we do not understand Spanish when in trouble). Breakfast were tailored according to our nutritional needs and freshly made and we enjoyed it very much every morning. The whole stay offered super value and we highly recommend it. The playa Las Lajas is only 10 minutes drive away and you can have all the tranquility and peace the beautiful endless beach offers.

Hotel City Plaza & Suites in David has 4-star accommodation with a bar. Boasting a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Very clean and friendly. Great location.

Pets are only accepted upon prior request to the hotel and must be approved, plus pets include an extra charge. The hotel only allows pets in El Palace (Three-Bedroom House) and Villas (Deluxe apartments). The staff were fabulous and the restaurant was great!! Parking was great because we parked just outside the back door, facilitating access to luggage entry. We enjoyed ordering from the restaurant and being able to eat right on our balcony. The kayaking was fun as well!

Hotel Isla Verde provides certain units that feature a balcony, and all rooms are equipped with a coffee machine. The units will provide guests with a fridge. Location is in the middle of the city but so quiet and in the middle of beautiful nature. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, good bed, sofa, dinner table, kitchen, warm water, maybe they can add some salt and pepper to the room, but we were able to get some at the restaurant. I really liked the outside area as well, the hammock and terrace. Also to sit by the water and watch the water run by is relaxing after a long hike.

A business centre and meeting facilities are included. Catedral de San Jose de David is 8 km and Puerto Pedregal is 6 km away. Barqueta Beach is 32 minutes’ drive from the property. The value for the dinners was excellent. I ordered something different every night and each meal was excellent. There was a problem with the elevator going to the main lobby and the staff made sure that I was able to reach the main lobby with no issues. The staff only found solutions to problems.

A great place to relax after a day on the trail. The view is beautiful, and we loved the peaceful garden – especially the hummingbird feeders, such a lovely detail! The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. We’re absolutely recommend it to anyone.
