Even before I arrived, I experienced how extraordinary the team is. I got stuck on the way to the camp, and without hesitation they came to help me. That moment already showed me what kind of people I was about to meet. The tent itself is absolutely outstanding. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, the bed is incredibly soft and comfortable, and having running water and electricity in the middle of the desert feels almost unreal. You feel safe, relaxed, and completely at peace while still being surrounded by the magic of the desert. The food deserves a special mention — it was the best food I had during my entire trip in Oman. Authentic, fresh, and made with so much love. Watching the sunset from the camp was another unforgettable highlight — one of those moments you carry in your heart forever. What truly makes this place exceptional are the people. The staff is not just kind, they are genuinely caring. They constantly checked on my well-being, included me as part of the team, and allowed me to experience real, authentic local life. Out of the 10 nights I spent in Oman, I chose to stay 5 nights in this camp — simply because I didn’t want to leave. The hosts became friends — people I truly hold close to my heart. In the evenings, we gathered around the campfire, talking, singing, laughing, and sharing stories. I even learned how to make traditional Arabic bread. The camp is also very child-friendly, making it perfect for families. This camp is so much more than an accommodation. It is a place of connection, warmth, and humanity. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Highly, highly recommended. 🌅🔥❤️

Incredible experience overall Note for people dealing with allergies, skin conditions, or are immunocompromised: we confirm this establishment is adequate, due to its cleanliness and the adaptability of the staff. The water is a little chlorinated, so just bring plenty of fresh filtered water for hygiene.

Muscat International Airport is 207 km away. First of all everybody was super nice, welcoming and friendly. The camp is small (like 6 tents only) so not crowded. You can enjoy silence :) The tents are very clean even if they are in the desert. Each tent has it's own bathroom which is super cool, with shower, toilet, sink and small cleaning stuffs (soap, tooth pasta, etc). I highly recommend to take the breakfast and dinner options they are very delicious and it is very nice to have them surrounded by dunes :) We also took the dune bashing. It was fun. On the second night we had a rainfall. The staff was very kind they brought the dinner into the tent in the middle of the rain. They also checked if the tent is not leaking (wasn't, each tent has a waterproof cover).

Muscat International Airport is 203 km away. Alsaif camp was probably one of the best accommodations I’ve ever stayed at and I travel quite frequently. The villas are beautiful and the value for money is excellent. You get a private swimming pool, good AC, a spacious room with a large TV, and in-room dining and breakfast (for an additional fee). After the dinner, the owner took us to a campfire in the dunes behind the accommodation where he explained us the history of Oman while serving us tea and stargazing. Simply unforgettable. We also purchased a sunrise tour and we were picked up at 5:50 am sharp. Another big plus is the location. The villas are right at the edge of the village — literally where the road ends and the desert begins — so we could drive there with our regular car and park right in front of the villa. No need for a 4x4 or expensive transfers like I’ve seen in some other places. I’m so happy we chose this place. The team was super responsive on WhatsApp whenever we needed anything. Can’t recommend it enough!
