The bed was extremely comfortable with beautiful and soft linens. Everything we needed was there, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, towels for makeup removal, towels for showers and for the beach. Although we did not use the robes they were provided. This place is right in town and easy access to shops, breakfast, dinner and the Matakana Saturday Market which was a lot of fun! Wonderful A+ Host.

The area is great as well—the beach is less than a 15-minute walk away and shops are also within easy walking distance. Auckland CBD is reachable with a bus ride in under 30 minutes. Sheree is the best host imaginable: incredibly kind, warm, and she really made our stay extra special. We extended our stay twice for a reason—we simply enjoyed it here so much. Highly recommended!

Christine met me on arrival and showed me around and gave me excellent suggestions of what to see in the area. I only had an overnight stop but there was everything available that I needed in a lovely quiet setting. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the back deck where you could view the visiting wildlife and the bush walk down to the beach was handy.
