Comprising barbecue facilities and a shared lounge, Traditional Newari Homestay is a recently renovated accommodation in Pātan located close to Patan Durbar Square. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The homestay provides inner courtyard views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Our host worked hard to connect with us, and to make our stay a good one. He had to balance caring for each of the people staying there. And, of course, he has his own family he must not ignore. The breakfasts he makes for us are varied, healthy, simple, but tasty. The location was perfect. We lived in a real neighborhood, which meant the dogs barked, there were sometimes odd neighbor noises, construction here and there, but everything eventually quieted down at night. I didn't fit into the house very well. I am tall and getting older, and I think it's an environment that works for the young and slightly more compact person. But, I still loved it just the same. I'd certainly stay there again if in Patan.

This hostel is an excellent alternative for budget tourists due to its pleasant environment, friendly environment and convenient location. Highly recommended!

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Namaste Home Stay is a recently renovated guest house situated in Dhulikhel, 30 km from Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The best homestay I've ever stayed in.. Prem and his family are the greatest people I've met in Nepal ( and I mean it!!). You will have an opportunity to stay with many locals and share about their culture. A lot of cute kids were always playing around, so the place was really lively. The food was excellent and the room & bathroom were sparkling clean! The village of Namobuddha is very authentic and the scenery stunning. If you're lucky enough, you will also have the opportunity to meet Ian who lives there and runs a charity association to provide water pipelines for remote villages. Trust me, go there ...that's the kind of place you will never forget.

Navin is the best host, we spent almost the entire time I was in Bhaktapur together, he gave me a tour of all his favorite places. It is a quaint, intimate hotel with a very attentive, kind and friendly staff. The service is personalized but not obtrusive. Much care is taken in the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. Rooms and bathrooms have always been very clean at check-in. The menu is varied and the dishes are prepared to order, always fresh. The WiFi is strong; I've never had problems connecting. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I definitely plan to stay here again!
