The owner is very kind and always available, helping with any questions about treks and transportation. The rooms are very clean, and there is always hot water for showers. The Wi-Fi works very well. The breakfast is delicious, and they even store your backpack for free while you go trekking. I will definitely return to this place!

Great location in Thamel. Excellent value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful — when I fell sick, Deepak even got me some over-the-counter medicine from the pharmacy and brought hot water to my room. They also organise tours. There’s a lovely open lounge area where guests can relax — great ambience overall!

The building is not in the center of Kathmandu, but the distance is compensated by the tranquility of the neighborhood (much less noisy than the center of Kathmandu) and the hospitality of the owners. Mira is also an excellent cook. For example, it makes amazing soups. As Kathmandu's attractions are located in several scattered areas of the valley, it is a good base for exploring the region using an app on your cell phone to call cheap taxis or motorbikes. It is also possible to reach the center of Kathmandu by bus. We ended up staying longer than originally expected. We quickly felt at home. If you need, the hosts also help plan your visit to Kathmandu or other areas of Nepal.
