Such a lovely wholesome spot in a great location! Filtered water, clean and comfortable rooms, nice chill out areas. The best part of the stay was Tony who stole our hearts! He was so kind, making us tea and coffee and having great chats. He got us some local breakfast in and we ate together. Definitely one to remember because of him! Would highly recommend ☺️🫶

The accommodation is comfortable with everything you need. Bed, aircon, mosquito net, and ensuite bathroom. What follows is a man who has been blessed with finding his purpose in life. The animals, once stray and injured, follow him around with admiration. Healthy and thankful to have met him. You will have your morning coffee with a cat on your lap (or 3), spend your day at the beautiful beach no more than 5 minutes walk away and spend your evening wanting to talk to Prashanth and hearing about his life and the history of Sri Lanka. We had a great stay at tribal village! The room was very cute and the staff truly went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. Everything went very smoothly and you wouldn’t even know they had only recently opened. They organised a great snorkelling trip for us and had great knowledge of the area.

Nothing to put your luggage on in the room but I’m sure the owner will provide for everything in the future , the guesthouse is brand new and had just opened around the 1st of August . It’s located 10 mn from the beach . There are several little restaurants in the area. “ Seafood restaurant “ at the end of the street is a good one . The beach is natural , no club, no loud music , it’s beautiful you can find some mat to relax at the little restaurant on the beach .
