This hotel is only 7 months old and it exceeded all of our expectations. Room was spacious and we loved the design. They had an amazing pool with a lovely garden view. Staff was extremely helpful, they even made us custom breakfast and let us have a late checkout for free. The hotel manager Sandunmalh was very professional.

The whole place is very peaceful and super clean. We were welcomed with a mice cool freshly squeezed juice and the ac was already on in the room, such a nice welcome. It’s a 10 min walk to Talalla beach, which is by far the quietest beach we have seen in Sri Lanka. Just 50 m outside the stay are two shops, one for fruits the other one like a mini super market, so you can buy all supplies if you would like to cook your own food. There is a kitchen with all essential tools, a fridge, microwave and a kettle. Our breakfast was included and it was good with toasted bread, a plate of fruits, fried eggs and tea (or coffee). Probably one of the nicest things in the property was the water cooler and guests are free to use it. They also have two bikes that are in good shape when compared to other ones we used in Sri Lanka. What’s more they didn’t charge for the use at all, so we biked to Hiriketiya beach and back. The hot shower is good with adjustable pressure if you would like to use it. The staff and the owners are super friendly and nice as well. Would definitely like to stay here again, for longer time. Feels just like home, super comfortable! Absolutely recommended!

Sapiens is a haven! Away from the crowds, calm quiet and peaceful. On the river with a pool and wildlife everywhere. The staff are super helpful and got me a bike the first day which means I feel like a local. Breakfast is delicious and the pool is perfect for a lazy day or post surf dip to cool off. I can highly recommend staying here.

The little houses are in a beautiful garden where you can see lots of animals! We didn't meet the owner but the young man at the reception was very nice and helpful. Would come again!

Perfect location especially for a longer stay, bus station at end of road, good gym nearby, very good coffee shop around the corner as is big supermarket. Lots of varied restaurants around, and beach a minutes walk away. Nice quiet street, airy garden and plenty of secure parking. Great host, Chanu is very genuine and accommodating. We felt very at home. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Superb value for money and highly recommended especially for longer stays. Consider the front rooms with huge balcony overlooking garden.

It was a lovely hotel. The view of the ocean is breathtaking. We had dinner in house. The owner grilled a red snapper with chips and salad. It was excellent.

The location is walking distance to the beach (15 minutes) and also isolated perfectly in the quiet jungle from the main area of Mirissa. The owners of the bakery are delightful and accommodating to needs with quick response, they also run an operational bakery from the guest house which is a delicious start to the day! I will return there when I go back to Sri Lanka.

It's very spacious, you are protected from loud streets and have nice garden to chill. The rooms are comfortable and clean, you have everything you need, also in the kitchen. The Host is extremely nice, he really makes huge effort for your stay to go extra smooth, gives you tips on literally everything.
