The family who run the hideaway are all attentive, generous and go above and beyond to make sure you have a memorable stay. I was able to swim in the river each day and eat delicious home cooked meals 3 times a day. I had not planned to visit the rainforest or this area of Sri Lanka and I ended up pivoting to find some solace for my final three nights and I'm so glad I did. Thank you to the property owners for looking after me. I'd love to stay again when I return to Sri Lanka.

Staff on site can arrange a shuttle service. we loved talalla leisure! the pool was amazing, the views from the room and restaurant are insane and you can see talalla beach which is stunning. so much greenery and perfect for a chill as it’s nice and quiet with no street noise. the staff are so friendly and accommodate to your needs. lovely little family run business and we can’t thank the owners enough for the perfect stay after our backpacking trip. they even made us personalised tote bags which was a perfect touch and shows that they really appreciate their guests, loved it💗
