I loved my stay at Casa de la Siesta. It was the perfect peaceful hideaway, and the location is ideal. It's quiet and relaxing, yet just a short walk to downtown. They have a fully-equipped kitchen accessible to all guests, and the washing machines are also free to use. A wonderful highlight was when our host invited us to a free family dinner at their other hostel, which they host a few times a week. It was such a warm and memorable evening! Casa de la Siesta offers incredible value for money. I highly recommend it for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

It was like I walked in to the art gallery. The hostel is beautiful with pictures and decorations with classical style. I love everything here. I urgently booked when I arrived at the bus terminal. The hostel is not far I could walk there. And the hostel also had a beautiful restaurant. If you want to see the river. You just walk about 100 meters then go through a street head down to the river which is not far at all. From there you can visit a walking street, the temples and the statues of big nagas.

The property got back to me with an offer to cancel my booking for free because they had a water leakage issue. They also offered a similar alternative accommodation right next door and said they will waive 1 night's charge if I accept the alternative option. They said we could decide after seeing the alternative option. We say the alternative option, which was quite good and great value with 1 night's charges waived. The whole thing worked quite smoothly.
