We were warmly received, it seemed like the entire village of Mkwiro came to meet us, it was fantastic! Everything about this place was magical! Asma made us the most beautiful and delicious meals, we are so grateful! For a small fee she took care of catering for us. Jenga (caretaker) is the kindest most helpful man, he dedicated himself to making sure our stay was as comfortable as could be. George (security) was always on board to make us feel safe in the evenings!

A Delightful & Relaxing Stay at Baali Diani Apartments I spent three nights at Baali Diani Apartments with my partner, and it was a wonderful stay. From arrival to check-out, the staff were warm, attentive and genuinely eager to help — special mention to Dan (night watcher) and chef Clara, both of whom went above and beyond. The apartment was spotless, nicely furnished, with good air-conditioning (a must in the warm evenings), and the kitchen well-stocked for basic use. Breakfast was fresh and nicely presented, giving a good start to the day. The garden and pool area offer a peaceful escape, perfect for relaxing after beach time. While it’s not right on the sand, the beach is still easily walkable, and the location feels safe and calm. A few minor notes: more kitchen utensils (chopping board, additional pots) might help for guests who cook more. Also, hot water wasn’t always consistent in the shower, but not enough to spoil the experience. Overall, great value — I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, friendly, peaceful base at Diani without paying resort prices.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Every room is fitted with a balcony with garden views. Mami Wata is a hidden gem in Diani beach. Although not directly on the beach, a short 10 minute walk and you're there. There are only three others rooms, which makes it a quiet and nice setting. The rooms are clean and there is everything you need (e.g., a fan for the hot nights), breakfast is good and there are many spots on the property to relax. Vervets and Colubus are also residents here! The staff, Grace and George, are very helpful and kind. Kiko was a very good host, super flexible and always ready to help. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The villas are comfy, the staff are welcoming and the breakfast is delicious and fulfilling. Bonus, the owner was there on holidays and offered to pick us up at Ukunda for free. The pool was also refreshing and relaxing. Very nice ambience!
