The dog motifs everywhere was a really nice touch, we were missing our dogs while traveling so it was also nice to meet other guests and their dogs.

It's a semi-rural setting and quite peaceful and was a great base for us for a day at Koyasan. The facilities were very modern and spotless and Miyuki's breakfasts were wonderful. Highly reommended, if the location suits you (as it did us.)
