Lovely views from the room. The staff was so so nice (and went out of their way when I left items at the hotel). Can walk to the cable car in champoluc to Crest. You can take many nice hikes directly from Champoluc. And it has parking!

Set in Champoluc, Aethos Monterosa is located halfway between Champoluc and Frachey ski lifts, both a 12-minute walk away. We stayed with our dog for one night during a multi-day hike, and it was by far the best hotel we stayed at in the area. The rooms are stunning, with two levels (duplex), and pets are welcome — for an extra fee, but they get a nice bed, bowls, and treats. The breakfast had an incredible array of buffet options, as well as some "a la carte" dishes which were incredible (I still remember the french toast in particular). More importantly, the staff is super helpful — we needed a taxi on our departure day to avoid an extra long hike, and since no taxis were available until the afternoon, they made an exception and drove us to our destination in their private shuttle car. We'll definitely be staying there again, and hopefully for more than just one day to make the most of the amazing spa, indoor swimming pool, and to try the indoor rock climbing center!

Great breakfast served at the property, included in the price. Location at the top of the cable car is great for skiing. The apartment is quiet, very comfortable and well furnished. Mountain restaurants nearby are open evenings, or you can use the cable car to return to Champoluc at certain times in the evening.

Fantastic location near the center of Alagna and spectacular hiking trails to remote Walser villages and huts with great food and views. Very welcoming and knowledgeable hosts, exceptional breakfast with local farm products, homemade jam, etc. If you tell hosts Laura and Loris what activities you like to do, they will make very specific suggestions, which are spot on! We had an amazing experience and how to return in a couple of years.
