We filled the hot tube by ourselves, it’s rather easy to do, and you have clean water ! And it’s the only place that offered us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine! Thank you very much!

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. With a terrace, the property also features a shared lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. It is amazingly located place! Beautiful inside. Very nice people run this place! I hope to be back soon 🙂

Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. Loved the huge bathtub we had in our room Siggi, Hildur and their son were wonderful hosts. The property was absolutely beautiful and we were one of only 2 couples staying with them at the time. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and Hildur bakes her own delicious bread. The night we arrived we were able to use the kitchen to make our dinner as the options in the nearby area were limited. If you are travelling to this part of Iceland, we highly recommend staying here.

The host it is so nice making sure that we were not missing anything. Breakfast it was amazing. You can feel the smell of fresh baked bread with many varaity or choices 😋 of homemade suits and jam. It is a really great stay to relax after traveling. You can even enjoy the hottub to make it better. For sure, we are coming back.

We stayed only one night but we wish we could stay longer ! Highly recommended, good value for money
