We simply loved it!

Facilities - it’s a beautifully stylish little cottage on the edge of the lake. The sheep graze nearby and the birds are sitting on their nests. The apartment is extremely well furnished and has everything you need. Was a wonderful 3 nights there

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Modern and beautiful decor. Comfortable dining/living area. After I booked, I found out that the guesthouse offers breakfast during summer months, which was a big bonus. Breakfast had good varieties of choices and yummy. We did not use sauna/hot tub but it looked awesome- having beautiful views.

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. With a terrace, the property also features a shared lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. Had an awesome stay! The host was super friendly and gave us some great tips for things to do in the area. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was really handy. Just bring your dinner/lunch and cook as if you are at home cause you will have plenty of pots/pans/oil/salt. Our room was clean and modern. We even got to see the Northern Lights in April!

Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. Grásteinn Guesthouse is a truly beautiful home in every way. It is a special place, filled with things lovingly made by the hosts themselves. The bedding and towels are delicately embroidered, and the bath was perfect for easing the fatigue of a long journey. Every item on the breakfast table was prepared with Hildur’s heartfelt care — eating it made us happy. Even on a moonlit night, we were able to see the magnificent northern lights, and the starlight was just as breathtaking. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely Bessi and Kappi as well. This is an unforgettable dream home. We are especially grateful to Hildur for her kindness and the love she put into everything. Thank you so much.

It feels she definitely enjoys having guest at her home. It's a real guest house, owners live in the different wing of the building. Amazing breakfast with lots of hand-made products. Very stylish interior.

Located in Varmahlid in the North Iceland region, Midsitja features a patio and mountain views. The property has river and garden views. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We loved our stay at Midsitja. Beautiful cozy room with all wooden interior. We enjoyed reading in the books on Icelandic horses and visiting the stable and the horses. Unfortunately, it was a bit cold to sit on the terrace. The dog and cat are super friendly and so cute. Being greeted by them just added to the homey feeling. It was also nice of the host to provide some light breakfast in the fridge, which we very much appreciated.
