Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. Guests can enjoy drinks from the bar and food at the restaurant with a lake view. All is good except no Wi-Fi on our room at 3/F. It was unacceptable in a 4 stars hotel nowadays. Sauna room with a nice view but it’s opens fri. 10:00 am to 10:00 pm only. It will be much better with long open hours

The accommodation features a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. What a beautiful property surrounded by mountains and a small waterfall. We were pleasantly surprised by the side of the cottage, it was much bigger than we expected. The front porch area was all glass windows and doors with amazing views and a hot tub and there was a deck with a grill as well. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a waffle maker. This was my kids' favorite place, they loved the hot tub (no jets), the soccer field and small playground outside as well as walking up the hill near the waterfall. The lollipops on their pillows were also a great surprised for them. :) It was very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay.

The atmosphere is calm and inviting, just what we were looking for in a relaxing getaway. The host was kind, welcoming, and always available.

Facilities - it’s a beautifully stylish little cottage on the edge of the lake. The sheep graze nearby and the birds are sitting on their nests. The apartment is extremely well furnished and has everything you need. Was a wonderful 3 nights there

The location was great, a sweeping view of the valley from the hot tub a new sauna with glass door to see the view too! It was immaculate & clean and common/eating room was huge with long tables to eat on and meet people or many sitting areas created in case you want to be alone and chill. Our rooms were great and shared bathroom/showers were a good size and extremely clean! Everything was thought about & functionable...

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. With a terrace, the property also features a shared lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. Had an awesome stay! The host was super friendly and gave us some great tips for things to do in the area. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was really handy. Just bring your dinner/lunch and cook as if you are at home cause you will have plenty of pots/pans/oil/salt. Our room was clean and modern. We even got to see the Northern Lights in April!

Grásteinn Guesthouse features a private beach area, garden, barbecue facilities and shared lounge in Þórshöfn. This guest house provides free private parking and luggage storage space. Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. Beautiful location! The landscape of northeast Iceland that I had imagined was there. Dogs and a cat were friendly and welcome. 
Needless to say, the room was comfortable, the host was nice, and the breakfast was good. The berry smoothie was delicious.
 Highly recommended staying there!

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 39 km from Godafoss Waterfall. The host was amazing, very carying. It feels she definitely enjoys having guest at her home. It's a real guest house, owners live in the different wing of the building. Amazing breakfast with lots of hand-made products. Very stylish interior.

Located in Varmahlid in the North Iceland region, Midsitja features a patio and mountain views. The property has river and garden views. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We loved our stay at Midsitja. Beautiful cozy room with all wooden interior. We enjoyed reading in the books on Icelandic horses and visiting the stable and the horses. Unfortunately, it was a bit cold to sit on the terrace. The dog and cat are super friendly and so cute. Being greeted by them just added to the homey feeling. It was also nice of the host to provide some light breakfast in the fridge, which we very much appreciated.
