This was the best hotel experience I had on my trip. You could feel the human attitude and care in everything. and everything was just very pleasant. We didn't see much of the surroundings because there was a lot of fog and our stay was relatively short, but we experienced a magical atmosphere. Breakfast made from local products and warm, home-baked bread. This is a family business and you can really feel the family in this place.

At the hotel, each room is equipped with a desk. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Fjalladýrð Hotel also offer a mountain view. I'm confident to say that this is my absolute favorite stay in Iceland. And I've been to this country 10+ times.

Undiraldan - Steinholt, old music school is situated in Seyðisfjörður. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 3.8 km from Gufufoss. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. The host sent us instructions before arrival and it was very helpful, I read lots of info about this property so I knew what to expect and I knew there wasn’t a separation between the “rooms” and it didn’t bother me. The apartment was really nice decorated and we felt very comfortable there, we made dinner and breakfast and the kitchen was well equipped. The drive to this apartment was the most beautiful drive of our 10 day trip, I didn’t know we had to drive up the snowy mountain to get down to this city and it was incredible. It’s a pity it was raining when we arrived and we couldn’t go out for a walk in the village and we didn’t see the northern lights, which we were very hopeful to see the lights in this city due to its prime location.

The holiday home offers mountain views, a children's playground, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Absolutely the best of all accomodations we've had during our Ring Road tour. The cottage was absolutely stunning and cozy, with all amenities a guest would need. The surrounding area was gorgeous and the hosts were extremely accommodating, even going as far as lending us duct tape to fix a pair of our boots.

The guest house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. When the sun shines in Modrudalur it is beautiful - Clean Wooden Room with contemporary fixtures, good shower, good bed, blackout curtains, great views from the back patio. Arctic fox play, Highland Desert Hike, farm foods and a charming property overall.

Snæfell - Hotel by Aldan is 500 metres from the Smyril Line Ferry Terminal in Seydisfjördur. WiFi and parking are free.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. It was an excellent experience and the breakfast was very good. The staff were very kind and helpful
