The place is amazing, we were in Athena suite, which is very large and has amazing sea views. City is accessible by foot, and there is a fantastic beach bar just under the hotel. Maria, the manager, was very helpful, dynamic and courteous. Will definitely return

Syros Atlantis Hotel is a minute walk from the sandy beach of Vari and 8 km from Ermoupolis and the imposing Frankish old town of Ano Syros. Respecting the Cycladic style, the family-run Syros Atlantis offers traditionally elegant accommodation and a colorful garden. Firstly, the couple of George and Anna are exceptionally kind hosts who truly care of their guests. They prepare every day delicious homemade breakfast. Also the location is great, nearby the sea, beach with blue flag. The look of the hotel is traditional Greek. And the price for the stay was really excellent. You can get easily from the port by bus or taxi. But have some cash with you, both don't accept cards. Bus costs 1.70 and taxi around 12-15 euro.

The picturesque Miaouli Square is located within just 200 metres of 1901 Hermoupolis. 1901 Hermoupolis is a gorgeous place to stay. Set in a former mansion, our room had a balcony with a fantastic seaview and was beautifully decorated. Being up so high and opening the front and side windows and balcony doors brought a cooling breeze that was appreciated as the days were getting hotter (it does have a/c too). The room was equipped with everything we needed, had a large and wonderful bathroom and was very quiet. We loved climbing up and down the stairs of the city to get to the mansion but we understand taxis will take you to and from if you don't want to walk. Syros is really a charming island with pretty neoclassical architecture and nice restaurants and people and it turned out to be our favorite island of the Cyclades. Our host, Vicky, was very kind and helpful and we highly recommend this location.

Situated in a quiet cove of crystal clear waters, perfect place to disconnect. Although it consists of a small strip of a couple hotels and restaurants, you want for nothing. And it’s a quick trip into Ermoupoli if you needed something more.
