The location was good for the beach, eateries and facilities. The house has many original features which we liked. The interiors were to our taste and rooms were spacious, lovely courtyard garden with comfortable furniture. Bed was very comfortable. Pet friendly. Lots of little extras for us and our dogs
Loved the decor! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Bath was great!..really deep and the shower was really spacious. Good location for access into town. Free parking and electric vehicle parking .. really handy. Dogs allowed for a fee… nice touch of dog treats in the room !
The Kensington was very close to the main town centre. A flat walk along the front or through the waterways park which is beautiful and well looked after. Car parking on site. Hotel dog friendly with a designated area Option for eating with your pet in the restaurant and a sausage for them at Breakfast. Evening menu was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of a full English and vegetarian choices, always served hot. With Tea/coffee and toast.
Stayed for 3 nights this week and everything was lovely. Bruce who runs The King William IV greeted us on arrival and made us all feel very welcome, including the dogs. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good and ate in dog friendly restaurant every night and had one of Bruce’s chefs special curry (lovely). All the staff were very friendly and the pub itself was a typical country pub in the heart of the village. Area great for dog walking.
Matthew, the host, is welcoming and helpful lots of interesting information about the accommodation and area. 10 out of 10 for the host. The location is right on the beach and could not be better. Beach allows dogs on it. Accommodation is dog friendly as long as your dog is not too big, i.e.ours fitted easily between the 2 beds. Pub is five minutes walk away along the sea wall.
Location, peacefulness, pretty village, friendly village folk. Hosts seemed really nice and genuine. Dog friendly accommodation was decorated nicely and great value, clean, everything needed for our stay. Great little outside space to catch the sun and safe for the dog. Also a car parking space. The extra little items, dog treats, milk, tea, coffee, kitchen condiments, kitchen roll, to towels, tea towels, plus local os map and tourist attractions, etc all help to make the stay go smoothly.
Pet friendly but minimal fur present. Bungalow room. Excellent refreshments. Small treats for dog and water bowl would have been a nice gesture.
Great stay at Poachers Pocket. Dog friendly chalet which was so clean, no sand or pet hair and not a single whiff of previous pooches, which is very rare for pet friendly. The staff were super friendly and the veggie/vegan food was great and a good selection of ales/lagers on tap. Awesome location for walking the Norfolk Costal paths, we would definitely stay here again.
