The house was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed plus extras. There was a little basket of welcome treats plus the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and even pasta, cereal etc. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were a good size. It was also nice that there was free private on site parking. There was a garden but we did not use it.

Communication was great and check in super easy.

The location is peaceful and quiet, yet very convenient - just 4 minutes from the town centre, 10 minutes from our wedding venue at Cornhill Castle, and only 25 minutes from Peebles. A perfect little retreat!
