With a picturesque setting on the banks of the River Dee, this charming Scottish mansion dates back to 1225 AD, and was once home to the Knights Templar. Such a beautiful property. We were there for a wedding. The staff were great and the rooms are excellent.

House was extraordinarily cute with an amazing view. All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself.
