Located in a tranquil area just behind Tebay Services, with convenient access from the M6. The hotel boasts a garden with a pond, as well as an on-site bar and a restaurant. Everything. Room, service and food were excellent. Very attentive and pleasant staff. Particularly one young man who served drinks when we arrived and then breakfast on Sunday morning

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. It offers stone walls and en suite bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable. We also took one if the recommended walks.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. At night it gets completely dark, which made it possible to see so many stars and even constellations, such an amazing experience. The host was very welcoming and came up to show us where everything was and how to use the hot tub. He was kind enough to fix the hot tub for us as well, which we really appreciated. The accommodation itself is very new, with comfy beds, great heating, and excellent high water pressure. Overall, a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

We felt very welcome. There was meticulously attention to detail and we only wished we could have stayed longer .
