My husband and I had the most amazing week at the Alfred Hotel during the New Year’s holiday. From start to finish, everything about our stay exceeded expectations! The rooms were immaculately clean, and the shower was fantastic—a true highlight after a long day of exploring. But what really set this hotel apart was the exceptional service. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Breakfast each morning was a delight, with a wide selection of delicious options to start the day right. Axelle, who managed the breakfast service, was incredibly accommodating and always greeted us with a warm smile. What a wonderful way to start the day! In the evenings, the breakfast area transformed into a cozy space for dinner and drinks starting at 6 PM. What a treat! The barman, Paul, crafted the most incredible cocktail, the “Pomme de Feu”—his own creation. It was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Make sure to ask for it if you visit! The front desk staff, particularly Nasma, was outstanding. She was so helpful, providing great recommendations and always ready to assist with a cheerful attitude. Staying at the Alfred Hotel felt like being welcomed into a home away from home. The warm, friendly atmosphere and attention to detail made our New Year’s holiday truly special. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Great flat with a lovely enclosed garden for the dogs. We only stopped for 1 night in our travels, but definitely worth staying longer if we're back exploring the area. We also made use of a very comfortable guest lounge, with guides and other books. The chateau, furnishings and design are stunning! Our bedroom (and adjoining bathroom) was one of the best we have stayed in, with a very comfortable bed. We were also encouraged to share the large and beautiful garden, where we had a welcome drink from Alexia. The chateau is very well located for travel to/from Calais, and there is plenty to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed visiting Le Touquet. Excellent suggestions for restaurants from Alexia.
