Friendly staff, highly recommended.

NH Gran Hotel Casino de Extremadura is next to the Guadiana River, 10 minutes’ walk from Badajoz city centre and Alcazaba Fortress. It offers free WiFi and houses the Gran Casino de Extremadura. My wife and I stayed for one night at the NH Gran on our way from Spain to Portugal and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was of a very generous size and was well fitted out. The cleanliness of this hotel was exceptional. It smelt and was clean. Staff were very friendly with reception staff a standout in taking a little time to explain the sights of the city and to mark a few things on a map for us. It was very much appreciated. Lovely stay and recommneded.

We had a wonderful stay at Encantos del Jerte. The place has it all. It is located in the center of the village next to the church and 1 min away from the river. It is recently renovated and has all the best construction materials and amenities, for example it has radiant floor heating! It is a beautiful sustainable gem in the heart of Navaconcejo. We also made use of the accessibility of the ground level apartment for my great grandma that is in a wheel chair. Felisa, the owner was very attentive before, during and after our stay and very understanding with our little kids’ needs. Navaconcejo is my mom’s hometown and I come back frequently and Encantos de Jerte will be my go to spot from now on!
