The property is well located at the edge of the Tunis village with an amazing view on the village and the Qaroun lake from the Roof. It is nicely designed, peaceful and quiet. The houses and the Roof blend well with the local environment, paying special attention to sustainability. Rooms have nice outdoor terraces. The fireplace in the Roof proved very useful at night and created a nice atmosphere to sit outside. Our room had a comfortable bed and good quality linens that allowed us very good sleep. The hosts are very friendly and provide useful tips to exploring the area, eating and getting around.

The spacious villa is composed of 4 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and 4 bathrooms. A flat-screen TV is featured. At the tail end of a 3 week stay in Egypt we decided last minute to visit Tunis. It was high season there (December) and all of the top-rated hotels were completely booked. We stumbled upon this listing and are so glad we did! Everything was wonderful. The home was quaint and comfortable with excellent views of the lake. It's very well kept, clean, and everything works as it should.The house keeper, Ahmed was very friendly and eager to helpl. Gamal (the owner) was easy to contact and had us setup with last minute excursions. The whole family had a blast. Our short stay in Tunis was so much fun, there's so much to do and see. We plan to be back, and will book Sunhouse again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Mangrove Camp in Fayoum surpassed all of my expectations. Arriving after midnight, I awoke to find myself in a stunning and secluded getaway. Mohammed, one of the property's owners, is absolutely lovely to chat with—easygoing and friendly. His insider's knowledge as a local provided wonderful suggestions for things to do around Fayoum. I had both breakfast and dinner on my two night stay there and found the food to be excellent and healthy. The location is so peaceful and beautiful that, on my first day, chose not to venture out of it, instead dedicating the day to relaxing and recovering from my travels. The energy that Mohammed and his partner have created at Mangrove is replenishing and what makes this place truly special. I will definitely be coming back next time in Egypt.

The owner is very polite and knowledgeable about Fayoum and giving a detailed instruction about the place, the staff are willing to help and showing great attitude. And if you need a safari or adventure Walid the owner is the best guy to give an advice. The place is very relaxing and makes you feel the country side. If you are looking for something basic just to relax out of our modern life I recommend going there.
