We had a great stay in Mango. The staff is so helpful and welcoming. The dog Bobby is super welcoming and friendly as well. The hotel is super clean (the cleanest guesthouse we have been to in Aswan). The breakfast was yummy and served on the roof. They helped us with a late checkout by giving us an unbooked room till 3pm.

This place was an absolute gem! Located on a serene island, you’re surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views of the river. We stayed in a river view room, with a farm right in front of our window. Waking up to the view in the morning was truly a gift. The rooms are a beautiful homage to local Nubian heritage, with charming architectural and design touches that make you feel like you're staying in a traditional Nubian home. Yet, you also have all the comforts of a clean, well maintained air-conditioned room, which was such a perfect balance. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure that guests experience the local culture in an authentic way. It’s perfect for travelers who want to embrace the slow life and connect with the area’s heritage. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Even before we arrived, he kept in touch and responded promptly to any questions we had about our booking or itinerary. He even provided us with an incredibly detailed and helpful list of dos and don’ts, along with travel suggestions for Luxor, Cairo, and Aswan! There are many activities and day trips to historical sights provided by the hotel as well, and we always felt like we were in good hands here. As a passionate traveler himself, you can tell he truly cares about giving his guests an unforgettable, authentic experience. One of the highlights of our stay was taking a refreshing dip in the Nile. It was incredibly relaxing, after a busy week full of walking around and traveling. Our favorite part of the stay was meeting the warm and welcoming locals. The owner took us to a local village on another island, where we had the chance to see traditional Nubian houses. The local kids were playing and running around outside, and it was a truly heartwarming experience to interact with them. They also have an adorable dog, Zazu, who will greet you with endless love and affection the moment you arrive! We already miss him so much!!

The owner Hafez was very friendly and took care of our needs. Its a new and very cozy property. Everything inside the room is handmade and aesthetically pleasing. I would definitely return back to this property.

The breakfast and dinner was brilliant, fresh ingredients and food with good value for money. The staff was also very polite, helpful and friendly. Very good hospitality and would highly recommend it.

The host was amazingly friendly, even inviting us to his nieces engagement party while we were there and we got to experience some authentic Nubian food! The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle. The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed. Would definitely reccomend!

Mustafa and Abu were terrific!! Helpful, spoke great english, made our trip perfect! The hosts were continuously responsive and accommodating. We were in contact and able to meet at a time that was comfortable for everyone. The location was perfect and the home comfortable. We loved our stay. Would highly recommend. Mustafa continuously accompanied us a tour guide and made everything easy and fun.

The environment and the rooms are really gorgeous,the two restaurants are located along the Nile river which itself proves to be a beauty spots for photographing and taking a stroll,what’s more, the staff are really amiable and professional,not only promoted our rooms,but also help move our luggages,prepare early breakfast boxes,I do really would come again or recommend it to my friends

My friends who stayed this guesthouse last year highly recommended me. I stayed there for the first time but felt like I came to my friend’s house. They give a free boat pick up service. You can enjoy the great scenery to the Elephantine island. Kafana and his uncle Wael are very nice and helpful!! Wael showed me the local area on the island and told me a lot about Nubian culture. They’re always happy to help their guests. Although I had to leave very early for Abu Simbel tour, Kafana came to give me a breakfast box&coffee and say goodbye. Also, food there is great!! I had buffalo tajine and it was the best dish I’ve ever had in Egypt. I want to come back this place again and stay longer next time.
