And you simply take a short also beautiful ride on a boat to dive into wherever you want in Aswan - downtown or the close temples of Philae & co. The absolut best though is the owner and his wife, Sherif and May. You really see how much this place matters to them when they receive you and explain you every detail about how the place was built according to Nubian authenticity (while still proving a high level of comfort) and they give you THE BEST TIPS for a local experience in not only Aswan but all over Egypt. I told him his travel book would be a bestseller if he ever wrote one! He will also help you arrange everything. Also really enjoyed the early evening music with dance on the days we were there that the guests would join and get to know each other if they wanted to.

The owner was very responsive, making both airport pickup and drop-off smooth and hassle-free. Although the road to the property includes an unpaved section, the excellent service more than made up for it. The accommodation was small but surprisingly beautiful and very clean. On the following morning, we left early for the Abu Simbel tour, and they even prepared a packed breakfast for us. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

The staff is nice and polite, the dinner we had was great, but above all, the ambient and the details of this place are amazing. The hotel staff upgraded us from a regular room to a chalet which left us amazed. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the staff helps you with your luggage. Again, all praise for this wonderful place!
