Adrien provided an abundance of information about the local culture and volcanos, and organized a day trip to Cotopaxi with a local guide. The lodge is also a fully functioning farm with pigs, llamas, goats, chickens, horses, and most endearing to us, dogs. Anouk was always waiting for us in the doorway to throw the latest piece of wood she had found. The bed we slept in was very comfortable with a heated blanket and an additional heater in the room. There was a firepit in our room that we regrettably didn't end up using, but it's there for those who enjoy fireside relaxation. Adrien prepared breakfast and dinner each day for us, all of which were filling and delicious.

They delivered breakfast the following morning, and it was delicious.

The family made sure that the fire was always going to keep us warm, gave us milk for teas and coffees daily and made sure all our other needs were met. The cooking was £8 per person and did not disappoint, it was very delicious and filling.
