You really feel relaxed, the moment you are there. very beautiful Garden/ pool area and even the option to make BBQs. It is an oasis for spending holidays. If we travel back to Sosua for sure we will book Garden By the Sea again.

This beachfront property offers access to a pool table and darts. The guest house features family rooms. The host Janine was very welcoming and accomodating, we felt at home right away. She hooked us up with a tour to Cayo Arena which was way cheaper and much less crowded than the tours with the big tourist boats and was generally very helpfull. Breakfast at the beach was also very pleasant and our room was cleaned every day. I would definitely stay there again.

Casa Valeria Boutique Hotel features a refreshing outdoor pool that is surrounded by lush gardens. Guests can spend the day lounging by the pool or taking a guided tour on horseback to the stunning El Limon waterfall, Las Terrenas beach or Los Haitises National Park. Once inside, peaceful! Great restaurant, welcoming drink. Manager thought I might be Swedish - maybe a kindred spirit? When we realized we both spoke English it was a good laugh. Great soundtrack of old favorites - Guns n Roses, the Boss and more. Everything as advertised, free street parking. And the price was right, tucked in the centre of Sosua.

The room is even nicer in person than in the photos, especially the big windows and the cozy balcony, which we absolutely loved. Everything felt bright and spotless. We also really enjoyed the beautiful plants in the common area; they give the whole place such a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect, very central, and you can walk to everything you need. Shops, restaurants, and the beach are all just a short stroll away. Puerto Plata's historic center is a 10-minute walk. Fortaleza de San Felipe is a 6-minute drive. The Pier is a 9 minute walk. Acapulco beach is 12 minute walk away. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
