Hotel was a short stroll into the centre and we could see parrots (or Macaw’s) in the trees opposite as we were facing the road. Giselle and her team were exceptional and very kind. Only stayed one night but would happily have stayed another if we were spending more time in Jaco.

Boasting pool with a view, garden and views of pool, Canavida Villas & Resort is set in Uvita, 35 km from Nauyaca Waterfalls. The place was clean and well built. The road there is a bit rough if you are not used to the area but once you get to Canavida, it’s all worth it. The view is absolutly breathtaking. One of the best ocean views I have seen in a while. Also the owners Jess and John are amazing humans and wonderful hosts, they are on the premise so open to help with anything you need. We also travelled with our dog, and there was plenty of space for morning walks. It was really nice! Oh and you can see all kinds of birds like macaws and tucans on the property. Honestly a gem!

He’s created a great space where you can mingle with other guests in communal areas if you like which made it a lot of fun. Room was big and comfortable and very clean. Great location with private parking and wifi.
