The moment we arrived we couldn't believe our luck. The place is amazing, every small detail thought about. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are so nice, beds were so comfortable. The only noise is the birds, such a relaxing place. There is a restaurant right outside the property but we didn't eat there, and the pool seems great though we didn't try it because it was raining so hard. still the rain didn't bother us to appreciate the beauty of the place. The hostess was so kind and welcoming, she prepared us a magnificent breakfast, we would definitely recommend.

The decor and layout were great and perfect for one person. There's AC, not fan, which is appreciated. Also, the grounds are lovely, very cultural and intimate. The owner Kim showed us around and gave a tour of the two-bedroom cottage and the area. It's Black owned (from an American woman), which I liked and wanted to support. I'm glad I did.

Really recommendable!!

Chiara and Ray are lovely hosts: we really enjoyed chatting with them and they were always very helpful. We rented the local bikes for the day and it was such a nice activity to explore the area. This was our favorite stay in Costa Rica and would recommend it to anyone passing by Puerto Viejo. It's located a bit further out from the center, next to Playa Negra, which for us was a plus. You can enjoy the quiet and beautiful nature there. It's totally safe and not so crowded like the center. The guesthouse is clean, very nicely furnished and looked after. Large modern kitchen well equipped with induction hob, microwave, coffee filter machine and a lot of plates, glasses . One sofa in the living room. TV. Strong Wifi . They answer quickly to WhatsApp messages. The owner leaves next door. They largely deserve 10.
