During my stay I felt that I visited my aunt. Constant attention to the guest comfort. She was cooking food for us, helping with all tours and activities and making sure that we could rest properly. It is more than 10 stars.

The location is just 10min outside of Nuquí but it feels like you are in a remote nature paradise. The beach in front of the cabañas is several kilometers long and you barely see any other people there. The cabaña was very clean and the bed was the most comfortable one in our trip through Colombia so far. The food is tasty, the fruits organic from their own garden and we absolutely loved the free coffee and water. The tours we took were amazing and we even went fishing with Hugo and caught so many fish. We can recommend staying at popochos and we will definitely come back. But what really was outstanding was Hugo and Neila and their family. They were so kind and went above and beyond to assure that we would have a good time. They even organized a surf board for us! We honestly didn’t want to leave and felt like we had made new friends.

The breakfast was varied and very tasty. The food overall was delicious—every dish exceeded our expectations. Maya and Andrés were incredibly kind and helpful; they assisted us every step of the way. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is fantastic—warm and welcoming. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

We spent many hours with our hosts being shown around, cooked for, and transported to different places on their boat. It felt like a very authentic and local experience and we were able to learn a lot about the people, history and culture of Arusí. The posada was beautifully set up and very comfortable.
