Daisy was so welcoming and accommodating, especially as we had to change our plans at last minute and amend our booking. Daisy offered to book a boat to our next stop and help with accommodation too. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice terrace space with a hammock to relax. The meals delicious and prepared with love.

Some accommodation includes a balcony with sea views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with shower. Our room was directly at the beach with an amazing view. The host Hugo and his family were so nice and always available if we needed anything. The bed even had a mosquito net which was great for sleeping so we didn’t need to worry about any mosquitos. The food was delicious. I can only recommend staying at Popochos Beach.

With garden views, El Retoño del Negro Gozón is set in Nuquí and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and terrace.

Some units feature a balcony and/or a patio with sea views. Utterly utterly basic. Barefoot luxury without the luxury. The wooden planks which make the walls of the huts have spaces between them for ventilation. Nothing in the room except a bed (and mosquito net), a shelf and a table. Hammocks on the verandah and the sea is right there - wonderful. You get there by small boat (with outboard motor) from Nuqui - the tourist jetty is a short walk from the airport and the people where you pay your airport tax made sure we were passed into the care of someone who saw us onto the right boat. It took 50 minutes. Wear shorts - there is no jetty and you disembark by stepping off into the water. The kitchen/dining area has a low concrete wall around it and a tin roof. The food is simple but we thought it was delicious (lots of fish - ceviche, stew and grilled). The staff are lovely - friendly and helpful, and take care to speak simple Spanish to help us understand. We enjoyed whale watching from a small boat. All very simple and undeveloped. A perfect place for blissful downtime and going to sleep to the sound of the waves. Utterly utterly wonderful!

We had an incredible experience in this ecolodge, immersed in nature, away from people, facing the ocean and in a very comfortable room. The guest house features sea views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Casa Alma is a nice place to relax and enjoy nature. I really enjoyed my time in this beautiful place so I extended my stay for several days. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms, bathrooms and the community kitchen were always clean. The breakfast was yummy.

This pet-friendly guest house also has free WiFi. Beautiful spot, secluded but not to far from town. Staff are so lovely 10/10. They made us breakfast really early due to our boat. Very hospitable. Lemonade on arrival was a bonus. Clean room, lots of space. Bed was comfortable. Out door shower was really nice!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. One of the best hostels I have stayed at in Colombia! The location is spectacular and on the beach. I enjoyed my morning walking along the shore. The breakfasts are my favorite meal of the day, they are different every morning and the cooks are creative with the food types and tons of flavor. So many great tours offered. We did the whale watching tour and the baby turtle release. Both were amazing and unforgettable. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The public kitchen was great for making meals. H ighly recommended overall.
