This hotel was excellent and very centrally located near restaurants and bars in a safe area. We didn’t end up eating out because the food at the hotel was so delicious, and the rooftop was amazing — there was entertainment every night. The place is a mix of hotel and hostel, so expect lots of young people and a lively vibe. It can get noisy in the common areas, but we didn’t hear a thing from our room. Our room had good A/C and very comfy beds.

Situated in Jericó, Hotel Santa Laura has a shared lounge, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. As we were traveling in low season, we normally book very last minute, and we bumped into this good deal of room-update at Hotel Santa Laura. We got the junior suite with jacuzzi and amazing views, and semi-open hot shower. The room is way too spacious, there is a king-size bed and in-room jacuzzi. There is complimentary high-end quality coffee in the room, and complimentary water, tea, coffee and fruits in the common areas. Breakfast is also included. Staff is very friendly, and in-house laundry service is good and good-priced. Definitely recommended! Sometimes the wi-fi dropped in our room but that is because we were in the outmost corner of the hotel I guess.

The central courtyard is so lush with plants, the vibes are immaculate! Our room got upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. The bed was super comfortable, the pillow selection catered to everyone, and we even got a “better night’s sleep” kit which was a deluxe touch. Loved this hotel!

Especially the staff Front Desk: Paola and Pol and Christian went above and beyond to take care of the tinniest details. Isa, Estephania and Maurylyn were there daily at the in house restaurant that served a wide variety of tasty, super healthy and bargain price meals. The rooftop terrace with pool, full gym, bbq and game room were so convenient! And all for a bargain price.

The hotel is located opposite Santa Fe Shopping Centre and 800 metres from Aguacatala Metro Station. Lleras Park is a 10-minute drive away, while El Tesoro Shopping Centre and Medellin’s historic centre are within a 15-minute drive. Breakfast was buffet style. Easy and quick to eat and move onto the days activities. Room was large and comfortable. Location is easy to access and large mall across the street for shopping and entertainment.
