Secondly, the staff there are amazing people—warm and welcoming. Even though I don’t speak Spanish and they don’t speak English, we were still able to connect and understand each other. The location was perfect for catching an early morning flight since it’s close to the airport. Although, the town itself is quite small. Room was super clean and comfortable. They have AC, wi-fi and provide a tasty breakfast. I would love to stay there again someday.

Rooms are complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower, while certain rooms at the hotel also offer a terrace. I stayed for 3 nights and it was great to get away from a city and into nature. You are surrounded by lush vegetation, lots of monkeys and a couple of beautiful parrots. I took their kayak for a paddle into the lagoon where I saw some dolphins cresting the surface and more monkeys along the shoreline. Did not do any tours because I have some booked in Iquitos. But after talking to a couple of guests, they said their tours were really good. The hosts were very friendly and kind. I had a back cabana which was very quiet while you listened to the sounds of the jungle. I had a surprise visitor one morning when Lulu came to say Hola. Highly recommend this place.

I can’t begin to express how comfortable this hotel was! Owned by a sweet local couple, the breakfast was delicious and never the same. The sheets were clean and the room spotless. We had two fans in the room which was helpful. The room is not made of wood which made a different in keeping the mosquitos out. The upstairs deck had a breathtaking view. Loved all the hammocks! We will return!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner himself and felt truly cared for by the entire team throughout our stay. The property is beautiful – spacious, rustic in the best possible way, and maintained to an impressively high standard for this region. What stood out most was the discreet and attentive staff: always present when needed, without ever being intrusive. You can feel they genuinely care about the well-being of their guests. All tours were organized directly through the hotel – smoothly, reliably, and tailored to our preferences. Transportation was also fully taken care of, which made everything stress-free. The meals were freshly prepared with care and love – a lovely touch that added to the overall experience. The pool was a great spot to relax after our adventures in the jungle. No request was ever turned down – we truly felt at home. One thing is certain: the next time we return to the Amazon, we will stay here again!

Each room is equipped with a balcony with inner courtyard views. Our stay here with Leo and his wife, Elizabeth, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are comfortable and the hammocks are a great way to unwind after a long day. Leo took us on amazing adventures and when conflicts with scheduling happened, he saw to it that we were well taken care of. He speaks some English and we speak some Spanish, but it was only a small obstacle and it didn’t take away from the tours. Leo is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the area and Elizabeth is an amazing cook. It felt like they had included us as family during our stay. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our adventure. We would recommend this stay to anyone.

The lodge is immersed in the Amazon forest. The location was ideal as it is easily accessible by bus from Leticia. Mario and Joana welcomed me and were always around in case I needed anything. Joana helped me organize activities around the Amazon and even helped me plan the rest of my trip to Iquitos. She arranged breakfast earlier than planned when I needed to leave early and prepared a small desert for me when I arrived. I truly felt welcomed and loved my stay at Renase.
