I had an absolutely incredible stay at Cruz Roja in Leticia, easily the best experience of my entire trip in Colombia! The staff here are simply amazing—friendly, funny, and always willing to help. They made everything easy and enjoyable, from modifying my booking dates to storing my belongings while I traveled deeper into the jungle. They helped coordinate with a tour agency, which was a huge plus. Each morning, they cooked delicious meals, and we had great and easy conversations over breakfast. Their kindness and warmth made me feel at home, and I truly appreciated their care and attention. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are very spacious with air conditioning—an absolute necessity in the Amazon! One detail I particularly loved was the adjustable lighting in the rooms, allowing you to switch between cold and warm tones. Small things like this really make a difference. Just keep in mind, like everywhere in the Amazon, there is no hot water—but that's to be expected. The location is convenient, just a short drive from the airport, and while it's not the most walkable area due to an open field separating it from the city center, tuk-tuks are cheap and fast. Getting around Leticia is very easy, as it's a small town. Another reason to stay here: the hotel contributes part of its profits to the Red Cross Foundation. So by staying here, you're also supporting a great cause. Huge thanks to the entire staff for making my stay in Leticia unforgettable! Casa amazilia is a recently renovated guest house in Leticia, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, open-air bath and garden. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The host was super nice and helpful. She helped us organising a taxi and choosing a good restaurant. We got a small breakfast even though we left really early. The pool was clean and refreshing.

The place is absolutely amazing, full of animals all the time, but the best thing are the people who run it. Elena and Fray are just amazing, always available, smiling, extremely nice and funny. Thanks, it was a real pleasure to meet you. It's a must, if you miss it you will regret it ;)

Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a housekeeping service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Every room has a patio with inner courtyard views. Very good location in a quiet area. The host was so kind and helpful. He allowed us to check in at 9 am and check out at 1 pm on our last day with no extra charge. Homemade breakfast served every morning at 8 am. Free water fill up which is a bonus to not have to buy water. Nice seating area in the lounge as well as an upstairs deck.

Featuring a private bathroom with free toiletries, rooms at the inn also feature free WiFi, while some rooms are fitted with pool view. Such a lovely place, with a reasonable big pool. Location is perfect, walking distance to almost everywhere in the city center. The owners were really kind and helpful, helping us with organising the jungle tour. The rooms were huge. We especially loved hammochs at the pool area. The value for money is excellent. I would recommend everybody to stay here. Our family loved it.

The family collaboration and attention to detail along with personalized tours/amazing food made our stay here very special. The staff were all very friendly and could not do enough for us and were genuinely always there to help and ensure we got the most out of our trip.

Each room is equipped with a balcony with inner courtyard views. Our stay here with Leo and his wife, Elizabeth, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are comfortable and the hammocks are a great way to unwind after a long day. Leo took us on amazing adventures and when conflicts with scheduling happened, he saw to it that we were well taken care of. He speaks some English and we speak some Spanish, but it was only a small obstacle and it didn’t take away from the tours. Leo is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the area and Elizabeth is an amazing cook. It felt like they had included us as family during our stay. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our adventure. We would recommend this stay to anyone.
