Communication with the owner before and during my stay. I had an upgrade of my stay in another hostel. Owner speaks perfect english. They have delicious homemade yoghurt and jam, good bread and goatcheese for breakfast. Also good tips for tours in Valle de Elqui.

very friendly reception by the owner who told us a lot about the history of the building. the hotel is very stylish and tastefully furnished, with spacious public spaces. room amenities were excellent, beds and bathroom very comfortable. breakfast was freshly prepared to order (included). we also used the restaurant for dinner, quality was excellent. together with enough places in the shade and a nice swimming pool and garden a high quality "resort" like experience in the middle of vicuna. the owner also organised a last-minute astronomical tour for us. very much recommended.
