Hotel Millennium in Locarno is located right on the banks of Lake Maggiore, near the harbour and only a 2-minute walk from the Old Town and the train station. We checked in on 21/8 for 2 nights. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant downstairs. Beds were comfy. Everything was sparkling clean. The views - unbelievable. We booked this last minute and weren’t very prepared for the mountains - she even offered her own clothes when we said we wanted to go hiking 🥹 Another gentleman brought us delicious prosciutto and melon to start our dinner the 2nd night. This stay was a 100/10 and we already want to return - better prepared ;-) Thank you for everything.

It was modern, comfy, with beautiful views of Bellinzona and a great host. Amazing breakfast too.

This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.
