The Strand hotel in Schmerikon is situated in a fantastic location directly on Lake Zurich. The accommodation has its own small beach, which is reserved for hotel guests only. Beautiful and exceptional location. Garden facilities next to the lake and accessible right from the bungalows. The interior decoration of the Bungalow is lovely, excellent taste and very functional which makes it easy and pleasant to stay in the bungalow as a family of 4 (children aged 1 and 4). All of the stuff members were very friendly and human to all of us. Children were very welcome, even in the restaurant, which served excellent food. Breakfast was delicious, very good selection and variety of mainly regional products.

Located in Thalwil’s centre, Hotel Sedartis offers rooms with a balcony or a terrace and free Wi-Fi. Excellent hotel, gorgeous views, food was amazing. Rooms were lovely, we were woken by the beautiful sunrise over the lake Zurich, which was amazing. Train station is across the road, however trains run so quietly that there was no noise at all. Train to city centre is 11min, airport less than 30 min, it made the travel effortless and very pleasant.
