Location in a quiet place, but close to the cable car, bar and more. If I ever returned to this place, this accommodation would be the clear choice.

The place was more spacious than I expected, it had a full kitchen, sofa, bathroom, and a pull out bed. The sauna was super cute (basically a tree house) and the host was super responsive and courteous. Definitely would recommend!

This Rondo Motel is only 20 minutes' drive from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Free WiFi and cable TV are featured in each room.

The property has a very strategic location, which is located in town and within walking distance to grocery, restaurants, EV charging station, library, hospital and pharmacy Many things! The staff was both friendly and efficient. The bed and side chair were totally comfortable. The shower was hot and powerful. The air conditioner worked well, and was reasonably quiet. The TV was large and in good condition, and had a solid selection of channels. And it was placed in an area that certainly seemed safe, and also within a 3-5 minute walk of a downtown street with a couple of nearby restaurants and an ice cream shop. Granted, it’s not a modern high rise, and the price was more than I’d like, but it was substantially below most others nearby. That’s the way Golden is in the summer! But for those of us who’ll seek out a local budget spot when the big chains are priced so high in tourist areas, this is a superb choice! Frankly, I’ve stayed in those big ones on the nights before and after the Rondo, and the Rondo was better!
