Wonderful brand new property, luxurious in every single detail and perfectly located on a pristine beach. We stayed at one of their ocean front villas and it was heavenly! Huge bedroom and huge bathroom, beautiful balcony with view of the ocean, private pool on the beach right in front of the sea. Kayak, paddle boards and bikes at our disposal. Lush! Decor is impeccable and mattress and pillow super comfortable. Staff and service are what you’d expect from a 5 stars hotel and more! They also rent golf buggies and can help you book any kind of tour. Restaurant is also upscale with a fantastic view of the ocean and food is delicious. We are so happy to have found this gem. We would only come here when back in Belize 🩷

Set in Maya Beach, a few steps from Maya Beach, Kalimera Beach Hotel offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. With a restaurant, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can have a drink at the bar. Absolutely the best boutique hotel we stayed at in Belize! Everything at Kalimera Beach is so thoughtfully designed — from the moment we arrived, we felt more like family than guests. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their attention to detail makes the stay unforgettable. You get ice for your drinks or to make a refreshing iced coffee (which became our daily ritual). There’s a water tap in front of each room to rinse the sand off your feet before going inside — a small but brilliant touch. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and you can tell a lot of love and care goes into everything here. There are hammocks, a beach gym, paddleboards, kayaks, and games — it’s literally impossible to get bored. The absolute highlight? Sipping an iced coffee while relaxing in a hammock right by the beach, watching the waves roll in. Sometimes you even get a fresh coconut! They also organized an incredible tour for us to Laughing Bird Caye — it was breathtaking, and we even saw a shark! We truly loved every second of our stay. Kalimera Beach is a place you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like part of the family. Can’t recommend it enough!

Situated in Maya Beach in the Stann Creek region and Seine Bight Beach reachable within a few steps, Kin Resort Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, an outdoor swimming pool and free private parking. We could not have wished for a better final accommodation after 3 weeks of Central America. Olivia and Fabio are just incredible hosts! You can really feel the love and passion they put into their beautiful resort, always caring about the nature around. At the area you find still the original trees and plants and you might see one or the other beautiful bird flying around. Olivia was basically always available to provide us with helpful information, before the journey via WhatsApp and also during the stay. It is noticeable important to her that you have a great time :). We enjoyed twice great Italian cappuccino for breakfast and beside that loved to cook in the small kitchen included in the rooms. The small cabins are really cozy and provide everything you need. The beach is just ahead of the street. During our stay we were actually always alone there and it feels a bit like paradise. We can highly recommend a stay at their resort and hope that we also might make it one time back (also to enjoy the great pool which is about to be finished :))

Located in Placencia Village, 200 metres from Placencia Beach, Alux House has an outdoor swimming pool and rooms with free WiFi access. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. It was a beautiful room on the second floor. The bathroom was large with multiple shelves for your things and great shower head, very unusual in Placentia.

Coral Cove Inn has a garden, a private beach area and a sun terrace with swimming pool and buffet breakfast in Maya Beach. A few steps from Maya Beach, the inn offers a bar and water sports facilities. There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Friendly staff, small but cozy. Beautiful surroundings.

Simberts Apartments features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Maya Beach, 300 metres from Maya Beach. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Featuring a private entrance, the apartment allows guests to maintain their privacy. Quiet, away from the main road. Apartment was adequate for our needs. We were allowed to have our two little dogs stay with us.

Umaya Resort & Adventures is located on the beachfront in Maya Beach, just a 20-minute drive from Placencia. It offers an outdoor pool, an international restaurant and stylish air-conditioned suites with free WiFi. I enjoyed the pool and the patio. The easy access to the beach and the pool was perfect.

Facing the beachfront in Placencia Village, Itz'ana Resort & Residences has a bar and a garden. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The resort features family rooms. A blend of modern facilities with Colonial and Caribbean vibes, which make the place really beautiful. The rooms are spacious with a great terrace (ours overlooked the pool). The infinity pool is stunning, surrounded by palm trees and gardens with birds, gibnuts and iguanas roaming free. The beach area is great too. The whole place is quiet too which felt like we had the place just for us. Food was good, although it could have been better (see below).
