A luxurious 5-star hotel in the heart of Brussels, this boutique hotel was refurbished in 2019 and offers guests a 24-hour gym with a sauna as well as air-conditioned rooms with complimentary Molton Brown toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Free WiFi is available in the entire hotel. We stayed there for three nights with my girlfriend. Overall, it was a nice place, and I recommend it if you are visiting Brussels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. During the first hours of our stay, we heard very strange and loud noises from the cooling system in our room. We reported this to reception, and the staff immediately took action by changing our room and even upgrading it to a better one. The neighborhood is very nice, and it is within walking distance (10 to 20 minutes) of almost all major tourist attractions in Brussels. The room itself was quite spacious and tidy, with a safe, and the cooling system was very effective. However, I think an extra wardrobe would have been really nice, as there wasn’t enough space for the clothes of two people. Also, the bed was relatively small compared with the size of the room (and compared with our first room). But overall, it was a good experience, and we enjoyed our stay.

The room was spotless, quiet, and part of a lovely family-run property, making us feel right at home. Brussels Airport is 20 km from the property. This apartment practically right outside Brussels Noordstation is great for visiting Brussels as well as using for a base to visit neighbouring towns. Both the train and Flix bus station were only steps away. We didn't try the buses but found it easy to take the train for day trips to Leuven and Ghent, and then onwards to Brugge (Bruges). The apartment itself is clean and has all the amenities for your stay, but the biggest asset is the accommodating and caring host. The kitchen is small but has a couple of burners and a good sized microwave. To illustrate Karim's hospitality, he not only forewarned us of an impending strike that could affect public transport, but also took the time to check out and inform us of our options. This is despite the fact that we would have been out of his apartment already. Navigating a foreign country is not always easy, especially when things are going awry. Getting help under such circumstances is amazing. We wholeheartedly agree with the accolades that were in previous reviews.
