I stayed at the Berat Castle Hotel for one night with my family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was absolutely incredible — without doubt the best breakfast I had during my entire trip. My family and I agreed it was the most delicious and authentic meal we’ve ever had in a hotel stay. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the cook did a fantastic job. The hotel has such a traditional charm, and everything from the hospitality to the food to the overall atmosphere felt genuinely special. This was truly a rich family experience, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I highly recommend Berat Castle Hotel for anyone visiting the area — it’s a perfect mix of tradition, great food, and warm hospitality.

The family didn't speak much English, but they were very nice and we were able to communicate anyways. The room was exactly as the pictures, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok.

Mosquito nets on windows, good storage, fridge in room that was quiet. Barbers opposite speak great English if you need a translator. Quiet place, single storey, brand new, immaculately clean. Fantastic shower after 25000 steps on a hot day. A little trot (20 mins) to the main area but everything is by you. This is accommodation with four rooms. No kettle/coffee but load of local cafes (great coffee located behind the block opposite the police station that did a take away). Perfect for an overnight stay or two in Berat for an absolute bargain. We paid on arrival in Lek but I think euros would have been preferable.

The place are so lovely, peaceful and clean. The owner and his family are so sweet and accommodating. They even prepared our breakfast early as we need to leave before the breakfast time. Truly recommendable place.
