Spacious, warm with both heaters and logburner fire plus electric blankets, beautiful rustic SA decor, plenty of bathroom facilities and towels. Great selection of condiments and comfy central lounge area. Loved that we only had to light the already set up fireplace. Plenty of wood to burn. Owner talked us through the lighting process. Plenty of plugs and Great pod coffee.

Friendly staff, cozy clean room with very comfortable beds. It has a small nice restaurant which serves very good food at reasonable prices. The warm Breakfast was fantastic, one of the best I've ever had in a guesthouse. Highly recommended.

Otis, the German Shepherd, was fed up being in the car. He perked up when he realised we were at our destination. Driving through the gate, we realised that our chalet was a stand alone being embraced by a stunning sub-tropical garden. One bedroom, a bathroom, lounge and kitchen with an external shower that I now very much regret not giving a go. Supremely comfortable and a place that is yours while you are there. It had been raining all day and as night crawled in, the beams from the lights shaded through the undergrowth, mixed with the woodsmoke from my braai. Otis is one of the few dogs in the world (maybe the only dog in the world) to have seen with his own eyes the Three Rondavels, God's Window, Pinacle Rock, Mac Mac Falls, and drunk water in a bar in Pilgrims Rest. As I sat sipping my JD, waiting for the flames to die down for my t-bone, I looked down to my beautiful Otis lying in easy contentment on the stoep chewing a cow hoof and I realised, for three nights in Graskop, I was the wealthiest man in the world.
