We were welcomed like old friends and stayed in an amazing beautiful cottage. The weather was cold but our cottage was well equipped with a fire place, a warm comfortable bed and all the amenities needed. The view from the stoep was special.

The facility was clean and comfortable. Lovely garden and lawn in the back flowing down to the river. Lots of shade and protection from wind. Nice restaurants all around as well as a hotel just down the street. Dinner at the MUD restaurant was top class. Owner gave complete instructions about the facility and also restaurants around town. Beautiful view of the mountains, sounds of farm animals and little chicks running around. The host, Charmaine, was lovely and welcoming and we only wish we had time to stay longer.

Perter & Bibi's place is quite unique. It is quite spacious and is surrounded by a very attractive garden on the hillside in front of the cottage. The whole front of the cottage has essentially sliding doors making the garden area sort of part of the house. The big plus with this place is that it is off the grid. Just solar and gas. Thus no worries about loadshedding and losing your power and Wifi. This is a great place to chill out. Definitely a place to return to. Thank you Peter!

That’s what we thought when we stayed here for a few days. It is breathtakingly beautiful, the mountains and water. We enjoyed the hot tub and canoeing in the lake. We felt connected to nature. And then also a super nice host.

Beautiful location. Such a nice spot for winter and summer. When we arrived on a very cold evening, the fireplace were started for us. 2 comfortable and decently sized bedrooms with on suites and a nice braai on the patio. It was a lovely stay.

Boasting a sauna, BARE NECESSITIES, NUDIST ONLY VENUE Naturist, clothes free is situated in Swellendam. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the farm stay free of charge.
