Recently spent 5 days here, had a fantastic time in a fantastic location, in fact Del Mar Beach hotel takes some beating when comes to location, close to everything and right on the beach, hence the name. Great outside area, also rooms lovely, very friendly staff, go above and beyond to help. We will be back !

We stayed in the newly renovated family suite. It was amazing. Every facility possible with the small kitchen. There was a sitting room with pull out bed and two bedrooms, both ensuite. Complimentary breakfast also. Our flight was delayed so the free shuttle was not running but the hotel refunded us $30 dollars towards the taxi.

Location was a bit out of downtown, but we knew if from the start. Vehicle is needed, but that counts for anywhere in the states. Nice and clean apartment, loved that the hosts left us coffee and tabs for dishwasher and the waching machine. That was a home run for us.

I absolutely loved this place. It's perfect location let's you walk rite to the beach. It's pet friendly with a closed dog run so all the bottom rooms have a little patio. I was able to sit and listen to the ocean while enjoying my breakfast and be greeted by dogs. And the entire staff is so friendly and helpful. Plus there ice machine has filtered water so you stay hydrated while on the beach. It's an all around 10/10! Can't wait to come back next year!! And the price couldn't be beat!!

The price and proximity. It’s pet friendly, but this trip I didn’t take my dog. It was just a quick, gotta take my friend to the airport trip. But I definitely want to return with my husband and dog because it’s right next to a dog beach, so it’s absolutely perfect for a family trip. Parking was $15 a day plus tax, but you were basically guaranteed a spot in front of your room. Very nice location and within walking distance from food and coffee.
