Fantastic accommodation, amazing staff and manager , Aon, who went above and beyond our expectations to make sure we were happy, comfortable, and well looked after. Loved the private pool and well equipped/ beautifully furnished outdoor kitchen/dining/living areas. Bedding and linens were luxurious, and the huge outdoor bathrooms were great. There's nothing to complain about here...7 days in heaven. Thanks

Brand new and extremely clean. Good location but to be honest Koh lanta is so quiet anyway so you do boat trips out of it. Beach is within walking distance. Great value for money. Working little kitchenette. Off the beaten path not on main road and behind a tattoo salon. Not the best views from window but it’s good for what you pay for. Locking the main door proved a little tricky at times.

The most beautiful asset that this hostel has is not just the location or the room (which is pretty amazing), it's its owner. I can't be more grateful to him for the lovely and caring way that he was with me and my sister. Definitely one of the best people that we met here in Thailand. In our case, we value much more the kindness and the customer service than other factors (and as I said, this hostel is pretty amazing), but I have to say, if you really want to meet a beautiful human being, go stay at this place.

Strongly recommended.Great host family! our flight delayed till 10pm. The host family helped us arrange a pickup service, which helped us caught on the last ferry to koh lanta and welcomed our checkin at midnight. Guest house is more than expected. Spacious, beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We are so glad to have chosen this guest house. Kitchen with variety of cookware and seasonings. We enjoyed cooking using ingredients from local market nearby. Shower stream is good, water pressure is not weak at all. 10 mins walking to the beautiful beach. Totally relaxed in Sam's House.

Wow, this was something special!!! Thanks to dear Malee and family for this experience!! Going out fishing for octopus and crabs and then beeing able to eat it in a delicious way- wonderful!! Cosy hut with moskitonett, that was not really necessary, because no moscitos around :-) On the second day there were exactly 3 tourists around. Loved it! Also not having WiFi and not having running water. How relaxing and something different!! Hope to be back!!!

Everything was just exceptional. The location is quiet and conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the facilities are well maintained. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. They really treat everyone like family. The breakfast was delicious and hearty. The owner is there every day interacting with guests and offering local recommendations and friendly conversation. Our expectations were exceeded in every way! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for an amazing stay!

I was delighted with this property! Really friendly owners who clearly want you to have the best experience. For a recently opened retreat I was honestly so impressed. Our bungalow was so cute and comfortable with great air con. We had a little hammock outside too. Come here for a super relaxing stay. They have a pool and picnic area so most nights we came back with some beers and sat outside watching all the cute wildlife around here (frogs, geckos, lizards, monkeys and cute cats). There is a moped rental, a shop to book tours and local restaurant right at the end. I loved Ko Lanta and Wanderlust was really was the highlight of our 3 week Thailand trip.
