When going to Sao Tome this is definitely the best option to stay overnight. The rooms are big, a seperate bathroom, a seperate room for the luggage. Nice, comfortable beds and rooms with the most amazing views! Staff is really friendly and well trained to give the best service. You can have italian food here which was amazing to us.

Roça Saudade is in the Almada Negreiros Museum also... So it's the perfect place to stay in the center of the island. Joaquim (from roça) and Emanuel (from the restaurant) are amazing hosts. Would love to return.

Truly amazing place set in paradise. The bungalow was spacious, clean, modern, stylish, comfortable set in a beautiful garden with a view to the sea, far from the other bungalows. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very generous and good, made from local fruits and eggs.

Very beautiful location in the middle of the forest. From the room you have a nice view on the garden and a small river. Feels like having a retreat in the Garden of Eden.

Really easy and relaxed place, the fantastic beaches are nearby… went for the turtle 🐢 night and brought baby’s to the sea 🫶🏼 nice breakfast, fantastic stuff. It was just perfect 😍

The place is perfectly clean. The people in reception were very helpful, although the frequent blackouts in Sao Tomé make their life rather complicated. A place close to the airport. Good breakfast despite of early time of our departure.

We wanted nature and a beach option within walking distance. The shopping and dining options nearby were suitable for us with 3 km walk (one way). To drive into the city, it is about a 20-minute walk through the backland to the road where the yellow taxis drive at regular intervals. The way to the house is only for experienced off-road vehicle drivers and despite the polite warnings here, it exceeded our expectations :D Our recommendation: Request a pick-up service for arrival/departure and buy the first important things in the supermarket when you arrive. The rest can be obtained in the villages. Our room was spacious and had its own bathroom. There was a common area (lounge/couches/dining area) and a kitchen. All rooms were clean and well maintained. Cleaning staff came regularly. Everyone is very polite and accommodating. We felt richly gifted, as there are other beaches very close (only few steps through the hedge). In addition, there are fantastic shopping facilities (fruit/vegetables, beer, fresh fish) in Mikolo but also street restaurants to buy fresh fish, octopus, mussels. The fishing village of Mikolo is well known on the island. Since the designated restaurants on googlemaps only open after 6 p.m., they were not really an option for us. We did not find the footpaths in the dark desirable. Except for a few days we were alone in the accommodation. The house dog is very sweet and always hungry 😊 (I was shockingly in love and there was daily morning exercise together at sunrise). We highly recommend this accommodation for a longer stay. Portuguese/French are very welcome & helpful.

The House is very spacious and in a quiet gentle neighborhood ( 5 minutes by motorbike/car from the center). Everything was very clean, secure and there is a garden and seating area. Kitchen is fully equiped.

The space it is very peaceful, really good for people looking for rest. The guest house has one of the most beautiful views of the island in which you can see the stunning bay, cabras island, airport (flights coming and leaving the island) and others. The place it is very close to the best and biggest european supermarket in which you feel like you are in Europe as you can get everything from there. There is one restaurant 20 seconds from the front door, the neighbors are very simpatique, the people working and staying in the guest house are the most lovely I've ever met. In the mornings I was always offered by them plenty coconut, papayas, soursops and mangos which were planted in the garden. I was picked up and dropped off from and to the airport at free cost, which was amazing. The owner any time I needed exchanged some euros and pounds, which was the highest rate that I was able to find in the island.

We liked the city/village where the hotel was in. We liked the pool and the fact that we had it for ourselves. the breakfast was great, staff was really nice.
