The room seems to have recently been recently refurbished. Everything looks new. The hostess was very friendly and spoke good English. She was very kind and helpful. The local area is very pretty. The river Nera is nearby, with some nice walks to enjoy.

With garden views, Pensiunea Gernik 100 is situated in Gârnic and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace.

The new staff from Sri Lanka was very kind and even accommodated my wish to sample some Sri Lankan dishes. Since I am a big fan of Asian cuisine and very rarely able to find genuine asian cooking in Romania, this was a very pleasant surprise. They were wonderful cooks.
